Access to NTU Libraries
|
The primary function of the NTU Libraries is to serve the teaching, research and scholarly activities of faculty, staff and students. The University also allows all visitors with research needs to use the library's collections, providing use does not conflict with its primary responsibility to members of the NTU community.

| Students/ Faculty/ Staff of NTU |
| Members of the University and of affiliated institutions are asked to show an ID upon entering the libraries. |

| Alumni |
Alumni with degrees or certificates from NTU may apply for a University Alumni Identification Card that grants reading privileges. Alumni who wish to borrow books may obtain borrowing privileges for a NT$1000 annual fee.
Application can be made in person to the Book Return Service Counter located on the 1st floor of the General Library. . |

| Visitors |
The NTU Library welcomes the use of its collections by researchers and scholars not affiliated with the University. A valid national ID card, driver's licence, student ID card or passport for people from other countries is required for a temporary library card. |
