Student / Faculty with a valid NTU ID Card

1.     Users with a valid National Taiwan University ID card can borrow books from each library of the university without applying for an additional borrower's card.

2.     Please contact the Library Circulation Office at 33662353 for any question regarding your borrowing previliges. For new students or faculty, please bring your ID Card to the Book Return Counter to create your patron records.

Visiting Scholars & Research Assistants

1.     Please provide the employment documentation, personal ID card, driver's license and one recent photo to apply for a borrower's card.

2.     For extension of employment, please provide the new employment documentation with personal ID card or driver's license and one recent photo to apply for a new card.

3.     For visiting scholars and research assistants of medical school, public health school or NTU Hospital, please go to the Medical Library for application.

Graduate school students before registration

1.     Graduate school students can apply for borrowers cards during the summer break before registration.

2.     Please fill out the application form with the approval from the department and bring the form with your personal ID cardor driver's licenseand one recent photo to the Library Book Return Counter for application.

3.     Application time: July 1st to August 15th 

4.     This card will be expired on September 15 same year.

5.     For applicants of medical school or public health school, please go to the Medical Llibrary for application.

1.     Alumni with degrees or certificates from NTU may apply for an Alumni Identification Card that grants permanent reading privileges. Please provide your diploma, personal ID (or driver's licence), one recent photo and NT$200 processing fee.

2.     Alumni who wish to borrow books may obtain borrowing privileges for a NT$1000 annual fee with NT$3000 refundable fee. (A diploma, personal ID (or driver's licence ) and one recent photo are required of the application.

3.     Users can scan the barcode on the library card to enter the library during open hours. Study rooms are not available during school exam weeks.

4.     Alumni with library readers card can pay NT$3000 refundable fee and NT$800 first year annual feeNT$1000 for the second year and after to transfer to library borrower's card.
