The reading room
is open to the faculty, students and alumni of the National Taiwan University. A valid ID is required to enter the room. Alumni are restricted to use the reading room during exam weeks.

Network access for laptops is available in D area only. |

Foods and drinks are not allowed in the reading room.

??The 24-hour Reading Room
|
|
|
1.
|
Please enter the
24-hour reading room from the northern entrance of the basement when the library
main entrance is closed.
|
|
|
2.
|
Midnight shuttle services are available from the library to the university main entrance or to the dormitories at scheduled times.
|
|
|
3.
|
The 24-hour reading room opens 8:00 - 17:00 on the last Sunday of
each month.
|
|
|
|
|

??The
Instructions of the Seat-assigned System
|
|
|
1.
|
After scanning your
student/ faculty ID card upon entering the reading room, the system will assign a seat for you.
Please be seated on the assigned seat.
|
|
|
2.
|
When
leaving the study room, please select "Temporary leave" or "Check out" and scan your ID card again. By selecting "Temporary leave", the system will hold
your seat for 30 minutes. Otherwise, your seat will be assigned to other users.
|
|
|
4.
|
To switch your seat, please scan your ID card at the entrance and use the PC inside the reading room to scan your card again and select a seat you want.
|
|
|
5.
|
During the
lunch/ dinner time, the system will extend the seat holding time to one
hour.
|
|
|
|
|

How to sign up
|
Please sign up at the reading room counter. Three passengers limited for each trip.
