隨著全球大環境的改變，學術圖書館正經歷著空前的衝擊與挑戰。當圖書館面對這些挑戰時，在經營上應如何有效規劃，以提昇並創造新時代圖書館的價值，實為當務之急。因此特別邀請美國華盛頓大學、伊利諾大學香檳分校及加州柏克萊大學三校圖書館館長，針對新時代圖書館的營運及價值等議題與大家分享經驗及討論。
