Plant distance design chart

恆春熱帶植物殖育場（目前為林業試驗所恆春熱帶植物園）樹木植栽時，各植株距離的規劃表，共計42栽種方式。各植株配置表均以方格紙為底繪製，每一小格為一平方尺。各植株之縱橫距離不同，從一尺到三間（每一間為六尺）均有，每一配置表也附上植栽之數量。
The chart describing distances kept between trees in the Hengchun Tropical Vegetation Nurturing Center (currently the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute’s Hengchun Tropical Vegetation Park) described a total of 42 methods of disposition. The disposition of various plants was drawn on graph paper. Each square represented one square foot. The horizontal and vertical distances between the plant varieties were different, from one foot to three jian (each jian measured six feet) and each chart also listed the numbers of each plant type.
