Services

Authors in NTU can publish in fully and hybrid open access journals of IEEE with a 20% discount on Article Processing Charge from 2026.    

Requirements

 1. The corresponding author is affiliated with National Taiwan University.
 2. Please use your NTU email address or choose National Taiwan University from the dropdown list as your affiliation in the submission system.
    (Do not use an abbreviation/variations of the school name. Also, do not include college, department, or lab names.)
 3. The accepted article date must be Jan. 1st 2026 - Dec. 31st 2028.

Discounts

  • Gold OA APC: A flat rate of USD 1,728 per article. (The amount will be converted into TWD at the time of payment.)
  • Hybrid OA APC: A flat rate of USD 2,240 per article. (This rate does not include the following: Color Figure Charges, Voluntary Page Charges, Overlength Page Charges.)

APC Payment Process

 1. Notification of Acceptance: Upon acceptance of the manuscript, Hinton Information Services (涵堂資訊有限公司) will send a Neweb Pay
    (藍新金流) payment link to the corresponding author’s email address.
 2. Payment and Billing Information: Authors should select their preferred payment method via the Neweb Pay platform and provide required
    details, such as the Invoice Title and Unified Business Number (Tax ID). The submission process is finalized once payment is complete.
 3. Invoice Issuance: A TWD electronic invoice (e-invoice) will be sent to the author’s email address after the process is completed.
 

Notes

 1. IEEE societies and/or journals reserve the right to adjust APC fees or offer special discounts on a case-by-case basis at any time. Such
    adjustments may include, but are not limited to, special pricing for specific periods or eligible groups. The actual charge may differ from the
    IEEE annual list price; the final amount will be determined by the RSLC system. For the most current pricing, please refer to the IEEE Open
    website, the CONCERT APC list, or contact customer service for assistance (IEEE_OA@hintoninfo.com).
 2. Only one discount program may be applied per article. CONCERT discounts cannot be combined with other special offers already applied to
    a submission. Authors or their affiliated institutions may choose the most appropriate discount program based on their needs.
