Checking in: please go to check-in machine place to tap your NTU ID card within the first two days of the borrowing period, and you can tap your NTU ID card on the access card reader beside the door of the study carrel. Those who haven’t checked in within the first two days, the reservation will be cancelled.
Checking out: If you want to check earlier, you must click <End> in the system, otherwise the rest of your time slot will still be included in the calculation of your usage rate, which may result in the usage rate not reaching 1/2 and your booking privilege suspended for three months. Before checking out, please remember to take out your personal belongings. After checking out, you can make another reservation.
Renewal is restricted to three days before the end of the booked time slot. If there is no reservation on the carrel after your time slot, you can renew your booking online.
Usage rule: The total number of days you use the carrel should be more than half the length of the booked time slot (excluding days on which the library is closed). If you do not reach this limit, your booking privilege will be suspended for three months.

ii, Login with your NTU account
(2) Click study carrel 「reserve」
(3) choose the reserve mode - by time or by room
(4) If choose by tme : select the borrowing start and end date.
i. The borrowing days will be displayed according to the expiry days.
ii.Booking: The length of each booking is restricted to 7 days minimum and 30 days maximum
iii.Usage rule: The total number of days you use the carrel should be more than half the length of the booked time slot (excluding days on which the library is closed). If you do not reach this limit, your booking privilege will be suspended for three months.
(5) If clean needed
i.The option will only appear if the borrowing period includes the 1st and 2nd of each month.
(6) choose the room
i.Display the number of rooms that can be reserved on each floor during the borrowing period.
ii.Clicking on the floor will display the number of study carrel available for reservation on that floor.
iii.The space location of each study carrel can be confirmed click on the「show full zoom」.
iv.Select the study carrel you want to borrow.

i.Display Main library study carrel instructions.
ii.Click「I agree 」to show the「confirm」button.
iii.Click「confirm」to next step.
(8)Complete
i. Display information about the completion of the study carrel reservation.
ii.Click "OK" to complete the reservation and return to the personal record page

i.The reserve can be viewed in「reservation」in「my reservation」.
ii.You also can cancel or modify your study carrel revervation before you use study carrel.
Step 2. Study carrel check in
