【What is PQDT?】
PQDT (ProQuest Dissertations & Theses) is the database of doctoral and master's dissertations in the United States and Canada, and the full-text PDFs will be purchased every year by the "Digital Dissertation Consortium(DDC) ", which is composed of more than 90 academic institutions in Taiwan, and then archived in the "DDC Database" for permanent sharing among consortium members. Welcome to recommend the PQDT dissertations you need.
【How to search for and recommend theses and dissertations in PQDT?】
To search in PQDT:
(If you are off-campus, please set up "Off-campus Internet Connection" first)
Add the designated university or institution, manuscript type, or language to specify the results.
Click on “Abstracts/Details” under the search result record.
(The document can be downloaded if there is a“Full text – PDF” button.)
Click on “DDC國際博碩士論文全文資料庫” to see if the consortium has this full text.
If there is no full text, you will see the page below. Please click "I NEED FULL TEXT".
(It is recommended to search for this dissertation again on Google to confirm if the open access full text is available online.)
After filling in the form, click "Submit" to complete the recommendation.
【Recommendation notice】
- Only current NTU faculty, staff, and students can recommend, 10 dissertations per person.
- The recommendation period is until July 31, 2023, but the event may end in advance if the funding limit is reached.
- We will purchase according to the order of recommendation.
- We will notify you by e-mail within one month after your recommendation whether it has been included in the procurement.
- Participants have the chance to win a NT$200 7-11 gift voucher. The list of winners will be announced on August 9, 2023.
- All rights reserved. Any modifications to the event will be announced on the NTU library website.
