Article 1

The National Taiwan University Library (“he Library”) has set up lockers throughout the Library to provide patrons with a place to temporarily store their personal belongings during visits to the library.

Article 2

To use a locker, insert a NT$10 coin into the coin slot, secure the locker door, and retrieve the key. Use the key to open the locker, and the NT$10 coin will be returned to you.

Article 3

Dangerous objects and hazardous substances may not be stored in a locker. Users should also refrain from keeping cash or any valuable items in a locker. After placing their belongings in a locker, users should ensure that the locker door is properly secured. The Library disclaims any liability for lost articles.

Article 4

Users are advised to safeguard the key to the locker. A lost key will incur a key duplication fee of NT$200. Users who have lost their key should visit the Circulation Desk, fill out a Lost Locker Key Statement, and pay the necessary fee. The Library disclaims any liability for items claimed by a third party due to a lost key.

Article 5

Users may not keep their belongings in a locker overnight. They are required to retrieve their belongings from their locker by the Library’s closing time. Library staff may periodically retrieve and photograph unclaimed items left in lockers before the Library’s opening time for inspection purposes, to which patrons may not object. Users may visit the Library’s Administration Division to claim unretrieved items during business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday). This service is not available on weekends or on national holidays.

Article 6

These directives shall be passed by the Library Affairs Meeting and the Administrative Meeting and then implemented on the date of promulgation.
